HVAC iPad awardThe Wichita Business Journal recently honored Comfort Systems with a 2016 Innovation Award for our unique iPad technology. In 2015, we were the first HVAC company in Wichita to start using hand-held devices loaded with one-of-a-kind software to increase efficiency. Technicians use the iPads to share important information, log service calls, access equipment manuals, Face Time with other employees, and more.

With the iPad software, now I can see an equipment list and real-time history without having to dig for it, or call the office. ~Lead technician, Brett McKown

Barcode technology is a favorite feature among users. When a technician completes a service call, they place a barcode sticker on the unit, then scan it. The next time a service call is performed on that unit, the technician simply scans the bar code to see the history of the account. By reducing unnecessary time spent on location hunting for information, Comfort Systems is streamlining their process and passing the savings along to the customer.

On June 28, members of the Comfort Systems management team will attend an awards luncheon held at the Hyatt Regency. Following the event, the Innovation Awards Publication will appear in the Wichita Business Journal. This special insert will honor the complete list of 2016 winners. Comfort Systems is proud of the recognition and excited to keep proving why we are one of the oldest and most dependable HVAC companies in Wichita.
